Ready to Use weedkiller formulation. Will control grasses, nettles, willow herb, and weeds growing on hard surfaces. Spray on weeds that are actively growing (during February to October). Only spray on plants that you want to kill.

Glyphosate is a broad spectrum non-selective herbicide for the control of unwanted annual grasses and broadleaved weeds. Developed and patented by Monsanto in the 1970s under the trade name Roundup. Most widely used herbicide in the world. It interferes with the synthesis of amino acids tryptophan, tyrosine and phenylalanine. Only effective on growing plants. Not effective as a pre-emergence herbicide. Is inactivated upon contact with the soil. New tallow amine free “Green Glyphosate” formulations can be used along water courses e.g. Roundup BiActive. Monsanto have developed glyphosate resistant crops that are marketed as “Roundup Ready”. Glyphosate can be used to control weeds in Roundup Ready crops without affecting the growth of the crop. A number of glyphosate resistant weeds exist throughout the world e.g. perennial rye grass and annual ryegrass and poa annua. Diquat and glufosinate ammonium should be used in the event that there are glyphosate resistant populations of weeds.
